Role Purpose

We're looking for a Client Services Director to own the post-sale client relationship and ensure the seamless, high-quality delivery of Mediahuis' integrated partnership and content sponsorship programmes, driving client satisfaction, retention, and commercial renewal. This is a specific-purpose contract role to cover maternity leave.

 
 

Role Responsibilities (overview)

 

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary Mediahuis point of contact for clients from campaign handover through to completion, building trusted, long-term relationships that support retention and repeat business

  • Represent Mediahuis professionally at client meetings, production shoots, and events, acting as an ambassador for the quality and ambition of our commercial offering

  • Proactively manage client expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle, resolving issues quickly and escalating where appropriate

 

Campaign Delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end project management of integrated partnership and sponsorship campaigns across Mediahuis' digital, print, audio, and video platforms

  • Coordinate all internal teams and third-party suppliers involved in campaign execution, ensuring briefs are clearly communicated and deadlines are met

  • Maintain oversight of multiple campaigns simultaneously, managing priorities and resources effectively to ensure consistent delivery standards

  • Managing and coordinating all aspects of live events

 

Performance and Quality

  • Monitor campaign performance against agreed client objectives, providing proactive updates to both clients and the sales team throughout the campaign

  • Ensure all creative and editorial outputs meet Mediahuis' quality standards before delivery to clients

  • Produce comprehensive post-campaign analyses (PCAs), translating performance data into clear, client-facing insight and actionable recommendations

 

Commercial Contribution

  • Identify opportunities for campaign optimisation, upsell, or renewal during the delivery phase and brief the sales team accordingly

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Mediahuis' partnership and sponsorship products, using campaign performance data and client feedback to inform improvements

 

Internal Collaboration

  • Work as an integrated member of the Commercial Content team, contributing to team planning, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across content, production, design, ad operations, and sales to deliver cohesive, high-quality campaigns

  • Define and maintain clear delivery workflows and standards for partnership and sponsorship campaigns, ensuring consistency and scalability across the team

 
 

 

Experience & Qualifications (Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge)

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a Client Services Director or related role

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; confident speaking to clients and an ability to understand needs

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • A collaborative team player who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long‑term sales career.
