**Contract Duration:**15 months
Location: Dublin (hybrid working)
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an early career HR professional to join a creative, highly collaborative and solutions focused People team. This is a part-time vacancy (30 hours per week) that can be worked over 4 days, or 5 shorter days.
The successful candidate will report into the interim HR Operations Manager and support the HR team in the overall running of the department; they will assist in the implementation of policies and procedures, support with internal communications, recruitment and selection, talent management, employee and industrial relations matters, provide support on HR projects and contribute to employee wellbeing activities.
This role has a hybrid working model, with up to 3 days in the office each week and remainder working from home. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection – support in the full recruitment lifecycle, including graduate and internship programmes.
HR Administration - produce contracts of employment and letters of amendment, mass correspondence such as bonus letters, formal company-wide letters, etc. Monitor, input and maintain our HR systems. Keep accurate records of employee files. Assist in audits as required.
Onboarding/Offboarding – coordinate the onboarding and induction process for all new employees and exit process for leavers.
Performance Management - coordinate probation reviews and provide support in performance review processes.
Employee Relations – provide support and assistance to employees on people related queries. Support the HR team in ER/IR processes such as investigations, e.g. minute taking. Monitor HR mailboxes, responding to or escalating employee queries, etc.
HR policies, procedures - support and assist with the development and implementation of policies and SOPs.
HR metrics and reporting - preparation of relevant HR metrics and creation of various reports.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of training delivery, including logistics, scheduling, and communication with facilitators.
Work with SMEs to design engaging learning content (e.g. eLearning modules, workshops, job aids, or blended learning solutions), and track and report on training effectiveness.
Employee Wellbeing – support and coordinate activities throughout the wellness calendar.
Engagement – support and coordinate employee engagement via internal platforms. Support and assist in design, and distribution of engagement surveys.
HR Projects – support and assist in projects supporting the Mediahuis People Strategy.
Learning – maintain personal development and upskill where necessary to consistently deliver best practice.
Provide general support and assistance when necessary to the interim HR Operations Manager / interim HR Director.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and/or relevant CIPD qualification
2+ years’ relevant experience in HR and/or Communications
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of how a HR function operates, with experience in supporting on ER/IR cases.
